Success Stories

We would like to share two very impressive success stories from two fifth grade students who attend Capitol Elementary. The results demonstrate how the Growing Into Elegance program impacted their lives.

Derrick Smith ( a fourth grade student) initially had problems dealing with each of his teachers because of his attitude. His grades suffered, but with the help of our staff working diligently with him for most of the school year , his attitude and behavior drastically improved. As a result of this, he earned all A's in behavior, and passing grades. This was a big job for a 10 year old, and we applaud his effort.

Tiffany Green ( a fifth grade student) had self esteem problems and social issues. After allowing her the opportunity to participate in the program, her appearance and self esteem elevated. While other kids were so excited about showing off their learned etiquette skills, Tiffany had a to be motivated to eat a proper diet, and the importance of self love. Tiffany loved the program so much, she was persistent in convincing the staff to allow her sister to participate. Tiffany excelled, and as a result of that, she was able to attend a prestigious boarding school for girls.

Through the GIE experience, Tiffany gained self esteem and confidence.  It was vital to the GIE staff that Tiffany ascertain the tools that would strengthen her character. Tiffany was a delightful and well mannered student.  We wish her the best in the future!!

It is important to the Growing Into Elegance Foundation to offer every student the opportunity to dream, believe, hope, and explore new adventures.
